Welcome to SoloBay

Find motorbike bays and car parks near you, save your regular spots, and never miss paying for parking. Here is a quick tour.

Find bays around you

SoloBay uses your location to show the motorbike bays and car parks nearest to you, and to give you walking directions back to your bike. Your location stays on your device.

Tap Next and iOS will ask for location. Choose Allow While Using to see bays around you, or Don’t Allow to skip - you can change it any time in Settings.

Save your regular bays

Save the bays you park at often as regulars. SoloBay then spots when you ride back to a saved bay, even with the app closed, and reminds you to pay before you get a ticket.

Tap Next and, if you allowed location, iOS will ask for Always so arrival reminders can work with the app closed. If you skipped location, this step is skipped too.

Never forget to pay

When you park, SoloBay sends pay reminders and shows a live card on your Lock Screen with a pay button and a running timer, so paying is always one tap away.

Tap Next and iOS will ask to allow notifications for pay reminders. Choose Allow, or Don’t Allow to skip.

1. Find a bay on the map, or search a destination.
2. Park my bike saves exactly where you left it.
3. Pay reminders and a Lock Screen timer keep you ticket-free.
4. Find my bike walks you straight back to it.

Which maps app?

When you tap navigate, SoloBay hands you over to your maps app. Pick the one you use and we will always open that one.

You can change this any time in Settings. Walking directions back to your bike use Apple Maps if you pick Waze, as Waze is driving only.

How SoloBay works

🗺️ Find parking
SoloBay maps motorbike bays, public car parks and biker cafes right across the UK. Tap any pin for details, prices and directions.

🔎 Filter
Use the chips to switch between 🏍️ Bike bays, 🅿️ Car parks, ☕ Cafes and ⭐ Saved. A motorbike can park in any car park, so those are handy anywhere.

📍 Nearest to you
Tap the locate button to jump to the closest parking (or cafes) to where you are.

⭐ Saved spots & pay reminders
Save the places you park often. When you arrive at a saved spot, SoloBay reminds you to pay so you never come back to a ticket. The reminder is a notification with “I’ve paid” and “Remind me again”.

☕ Cafes & menus
Browse biker cafes with descriptions, see their menus, and add a menu photo to help other riders.

📍 Why SoloBay asks for location

While using the app - to show the parking nearest you. That’s all most people need.

Always (optional) - only so we can spot when you arrive at a spot you’ve Saved and remind you to pay, even with the app closed. It watches just those few saved spots, not your movements, and uses barely any battery.

If you don’t save spots, or don’t want arrival reminders, choose “While Using” or decline. Everything else in SoloBay works exactly the same.
