Delete your account

Solo Bay Ltd, developer of the SoloBay app (com.motobay.app)

You can delete your SoloBay account and the data held against it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. In the app

This is the quickest route and it takes effect immediately.

• Open SoloBay and make sure you are signed in.
• Tap your account icon, then Settings.
• Tap Delete my account and confirm.

2. By email

If you cannot sign in, email hello@solobay.co.uk from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm once it is done, normally within 30 days and usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• your sign-in record, including your email address and display name;
• your saved bays;
• your subscription entitlement record held by us;
• any photos you attached to bay reports.

What we keep, and for how long

A small amount of information outlives the account, because the law or the accuracy of the map requires it:

• Billing and tax records. Records of payments you made are kept for 6 years from the end of the accounting period, as UK tax law requires. These are held by our payment processors as well as by us.
• Bay reports. Corrections you submitted about a parking bay stay in the map data, with your account identifier removed, so the map does not silently revert for every other rider.
